Formulation:
Cefpodoxime (as cefpodoxime proxetil) 10 mg, Clavulanic acid (as potassium clavulanate) 6.25 mg, excipients q.s.ad 1 mL.

Indication:
For the treatment of infections of skin (wounds and abscesses) and soft tissue; pneumonias, bronchitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and other infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract; infections of the genito-urinary tract as well as other infections caused by germs sensitive to cefpodoxime.

Dosage and Administration:
Preparation: Add water to the bottle mark and shake. After reconstitution, each mL contains 10 mg of cefpodoxime (as proxetil) and 6.25 mg of clavulanic acid (as potassium salt). Let stand for 5 minutes to ensure complete dispersion. Canines: 1 mL per 1-2 kg (5-10 mg of cefpodoxime/kg) every 24 hours for 7 days or up to 3 days after the remission of clinical symptoms. Cats: 1 mL per 2 kg (5 mg of cefpodoxime/kg) every 12 hours or 1 mL per kg (10 mg cefpodoxime/kg) every 24 hours up to 3 days after resolution of the disorder. It must be stored in refrigeration (between 2° C and 8° C) and can be used for up to 7 days.
